Torino International Mime Festival
1st Edition – From April 9 to 12, 2026

From April 6 to 12, 2026, Turin will host its first International Mime Festival!
Under the artistic direction of Matteo Cionini, the festival emerges from Turin’s LoveMime Community, made up of young and enthusiastic people, professional performers, emerging artists, and passionate enthusiasts.
LoveMime promotes the Art of Mime in all its forms, far from clichés and stereotypical images, capable of telling universal stories that break down the barriers that divide us.
We believe that Mime today is a necessary Art.
In an increasingly divided world, where walls between nations and people grow ever higher, Mime is an Art that unites.
In an increasingly artificial world, Mime is the Art of the storytelling body, made by humans for humans.
In a world overwhelmed by visual stimuli, Mime is the Art of active imagination.
LoveMime and the Torino International Mime Festival arise from these convictions.

Crowdfunding
For this first edition of the Festival, we decided not to wait for the outcome of any grant applications. We don’t want someone else to decide whether we can do it or not.
This means the entire festival is supported by us and you: through the volunteer work of wonderful people who donate their time, energy, and skills; but also through ticket sales, workshop registrations, and grassroots donations.
It’s a Festival we create together, as the LoveMime Community.
By participating in the crowdfunding, you directly support making this dream possible, and in return, you can purchase passes and tickets in advance while saving money!
